Registration is required for ALL sessions unless stated. All registrations will be confirmed by email or fax.

You may register and cancel if voice mail picks up. (This includes evenings and weekends.) Please have the following information ready when you call:

    • Cancellations
    Cancellations must be received at least 24 hours prior to the session, or result in schools/participants being charged.

    Voice mail picks up evenings and weekends so the 24 hour notice applies over that time.

    Series: Upon registering for inservices that have one reference number but more than one session, you are committed to attend ALL the dates advertised. You may cancel the whole series 24 hours prior to the FIRST session. Individual dates cannot be cancelled.

    We will confirm your cancellation by letter. Please retain this as proof of cancellation should any billing discrepencies arise.

    Unless otherwise stated, inservices will be held at:
    Centre for Education
    One Kingsway
    Edmonton
    (The blue building across the street from the Royal Alex Hospital)
    Parking at the Centre
    District staff who attend inservices or meetings at the Centre for Education are reminded to use the parkade card(s) issued to schools in order to obtain free underground parking. Special arrangements (made up front) for free parking can also be made with Building Operations for those schools who have more staff coming to inservices than the school has parkade cards for. In the case where either of the above arrangements have not been made prior to the inservice please contact Myrna Johnston in Building Operations (first floor) or the switchboard where free passes will be provided on the day of the inservice.
    Accommodation
    The Bennett Centre offers overnight accommodation for groups attending inservices.
