MATHEMATICS FOR ALL
Welcome to year two of the Math 4 All initiative! All schools are invited to send one teacher per division to the divisional sessions outlined in the 2009-2010 Professional Learning Modules. These sessions are offered at no cost. Schools are asked to submit an ITV to Consulting Services at the end of year to be reimbursed for the sub costs associated with your teacher’s attendance at these sessions. Schools wishing to send more than one teacher per division are welcome to do so, but sub costs for additional staff attending will be borne by the school. Please note the “Year 1” means you or staff at your school are participating for the first time with this initiative. “Year 2” is for staff who have participated last year and are continuing to build on this work during the current year. Sessions have been scheduled for your school’s numeracy coach. If your coach has changed schools or changed roles, please have your new coach sign up for the sessions designed for teachers new to the numeracy coaching role (Year 1). Sub costs for your coach also need to be submitted to Consulting Services via ITV for reimbursement. Should you decide that a two coach model is most appropriate for your school, please know that the sessions are offered at no cost, but in this case the school would be responsible for the sub costs of the additional coach. If you have already registered for the above sessions, thank you so much – no further action is necessary. For those who have not registered, we ask that you refer to the 2009-2010 Professional Learning Modules for registration details and dates or simply call the Customer Care line at 780-429-8050. Questions? Call Cathy Campbell, 780-429-8648. We look forward to another exciting year of working together with you! Powerpoint Presentations: (these may be large files)
