A district-wide consultation regarding Consulting Services was conducted by Populus Community Planning Inc. during the months of October and November, 2008.  Five themes emerged from this consultation.  The themes are:

• Everything offered by Consulting Services is needed - the services are highly valued.  There appears to be no need to eliminate any particular services.
• There needs to be a stronger connection between Consulting Services and schools.
• Differentiated and collaborative professional learning opportunities, including coaching, are required to meet the needs of the adult learner.
• Access to Consulting Services needs to be simple and timely.
• The current cost recovery model is viewed as an obstacle to effective, timely, collaborative service delivery.
