2010-11 Service Agreements

To help schools plan in advance for some of the services offered by Consulting Services, the 2010-11 agreements are available.   If you require additional information please contact Jan Witwicky, Project Coordinator @ jan.witwicky@epsb.ca  or phone 780-429-8162.

Part of Consulting Services cost-recovery time is allocated to schools in HOURS based on each school's weighted enrolment and the divisional proportions established by Budget Services in consultation with the Basis of Allocation principal committee.

For 2009-10, the allocation must be used as follows:

  • 1/3 ON STAFF (Curriculum and Instruction Support for Leaders and Teachers)
  • 1/3 ON STUDENTS (Specialized Assessments and Programming Consultation for Individual Students)
  • 1/3 ON STAFF OR STUDENT SERVICES
  • All requests for Consulting Services will be charged first to the school's hourly allocation.
  • For services in excess of the allocation, hourly rates apply. Schools may elect to have these charged to either their Consulting Services or AISI allocation.
  • Some services remain centrally funded and are provided at no cost to schools.
  • Central Services DU's, and non-allocated school DUs, may purchase consultant services at the hourly rates.

For more information, see below or visit the 2009-10 Budget Planning Manual.
